ARTICLE II
MEMBERS
SECTION 1 - TYPES OF MEMBERS
There shall be five (5) types of members, Individual, Family, Junior, Honorary/Special and Life. All Individual, Head of Household, and Junior members will be members in good standing of OBFA, CBH, and NFAA, and financially responsible for their own dues. Honorary/Special and Life Members who actively participate in archery will also belong to OBFA/CBH/NFAA. Inactive Honorary/Special and Life Members are welcome to continue OBFA/CBH/NFAA membership, but it is not necessary for club membership.
SECTION 2 - INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
Any person who has attained his or her eighteenth birthday is of good moral character and sportsmanship, may become a member of this corporation with full voting power upon the payment of the membership fee and approval for membership as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 3 - FAMILY MEMBERS
Upon payment of the membership fee (and approval for membership as hereinafter provided) all members of a family under the age of eighteen (18) may be included in the membership. However, the family membership may have only two (2) adult votes in the corporation. It is the intent of this section that members of a family are those domiciled together, or students domiciled away from home.
SECTION 4 - JUNIOR MEMBERS
Any person under the age of eighteen (18), who is of good moral character and sportsmanship may become a junior member of this corporation (without voting power) upon payment of the membership fee, and approval for membership hereinafter provided.
SECTION 5 - HONORARY/SPECIAL MEMBERS
Honorary/Special membership (with exemption from annual fees and dues and with full rights and privileges of an individual membership) may be granted for exceptional merit and service by a two-thirds majority vote of the regular membership present at the time of the vote. Special membership shall be for a length of time as determined by the majority of the Board.
SECTION 6 - LIFE MEMBERS
A. Life membership (with exemption of annual dues, and with full rights and privileges of an individual membership) may be granted for exceptional merit and service by a two-thirds majority of full Board of Directors.
B. A nominee must have achieved his/her accomplishments two (2) years prior to nomination.
C. Nomination can come from the Board of Directors, or the General Meeting.
D. Written resume describing accomplishments must accompany nomination.
E. Submitted nomination cannot be voted on the same month that it is submitted.
F. Voting shall be done by secret ballot.
G. Votes cast for or against a nominee is privileged information and the results will not be given to anyone outside the board.
H. Life Membership Recognition and Award will be presented at the annual awards banquet.

SECTION 7 - SUSPENSION OR EXPULSION
Upon recommendation of the Board of Directors, the membership may suspend or expel any member by a majority of the membership present at any regular membership meeting.
SECTION 8 - REGULAR MEETINGS
Regular general meetings of the corporation shall be held monthly at such time and place as the Board of Directors shall determine.
SECTION 9 - ANNUAL MEETINGS
The annual meeting and Awards Banquet of the corporation shall be held at such place and time as shall be determined by resolution of the Board of Directors. Notice of such annual meetings shall be mailed to each member at his last known address not less than seven days before the date of said meeting. All newly elected officers and directors shall be installed at the annual meeting.
SECTION 10 - SPECIAL MEETINGS
Special meeting of the general membership, for any purpose whatsoever, may be called at any time by the resolution of the Board of Directors. Notice of special meetings shall be given in the same manner as for the annual meeting, and shall be in addition thereto; specify the general nature of the business to be transacted.
SECTION 11 - VOTING
Each individual member shall have the right to one vote at all meetings of the membership. Each family membership shall have the right to two (2) adult votes, per family membership, at all meetings of the membership. The individual must be present to vote, with one (1) vote per person and limit of two (2) votes per adult family. All issues submitted to a vote of the membership shall be decided by a simple majority of those members present.
