ARTICLE VIII
MISCELLANEOUS
SECTION 1 - FISCAL YEAR
A. The fiscal year shall be from January 1 of each year through December 31 of the same year.
B. Annual dues are due and payable on Club Anniversary date. If dues are not paid within thirty (30) days after expiration, the member shall be delinquent and may be dropped from the rolls of the organization by action of the Board of Directors.
C. Reinstatement of a member dropped from the rolls of the corporation under (b) shall be on the same basis as required of a new member except that the Board of Directors may, by a majority vote, approve reinstatement without the necessity of submitting the reinstatement to the General Membership for acceptance.
D. For new members, first year dues are due and payable upon receipt of the application for membership by the Membership Chairman, or other officer of the corporation.
SECTION 2 - TOURNAMENT
A. An annual tournament shall be held to determine the field archery champion of the corporate membership. This tournament shall be known as the 'Champ Shoot' and shall consist of at least fourteen (14) field targets, fourteen (14) hunter targets, and fourteen (14) animal targets, in accordance with NFAA rules. This tournament shall be held at a date determined by the Board of Directors of this corporation.
B. One (1) field tournament shall be held monthly in accordance with NFAA rules, the program for which shall be specified in advance by the Range Captain or the Board of Directors. The monthly field tournament may be preempted by scheduling of a special tournament as a replacement.
C. Other tournaments or programs may be held as shall be determined by the Range Secretary and/or Flint Captain or by the Board of Directors.
SECTION 3 - INSPECTION OF THE MINUTES
Official minutes of the regular membership meetings of the corporation, and of the minutes of the meetings of the Board of Directors, shall be kept at the principle place of business of the corporation.
SECTION 4 - CLUB COLORS
Official club colors shall be red, white and blue.
SECTION - 5 AWARDS
A. 20 PIN AWARD: This program will be conducted in conjunction with the club field tournaments. The Range Secretary will insure that the 20 Pin tournament registration is accomplished. The Range Secretary will administer the program in conjunction with the Club Field Tournament Awards.
B. MONTHLY FIELD TOURNAMENT AWARDS: Suitable awards will be made to the winners of each class, in each division, in conjunction with the monthly field tournament. Competing shooter must have shot the minimum qualifying score for the class the shooter is competing in to be eligible for award. The Range Secretary will administer this program.
C. GAME AWARDS: Small and Big Game awards will be made at the annual meeting to acknowledge proficiency in hunting by members of the corporation.
D. STATE OR NATIONAL CHAMPION AWARD: Appropriate awards will be made at the annual meeting to members of the corporation, in good standing, achieving State or National Champion status at annual State or National Tournaments. For purposes of this section, recognition applies to winners in 'A' class, in each division for men and women, and Youth 'A' class, in each division for boys and girls. The Board of Directors shall determine assistance for all defending State and National Champions.
E. MISCELLANEOUS AWARDS: Other Awards will be made from time to time as shall be deemed appropriate.
F. HENRY POTEET MEMORIAL AWARD: To be awarded to the member who had demonstrated the most outstanding attendance at all club functions. This award was established in 1970 to honor past dedicated member, Henry Poteet.
G. RICHARD SNYDER, SR. MEMORIAL AWARD: To be awarded to the member who has demonstrated the outstanding effort in the performance of range duties and assignments, This award established in 1982 to honor past dedicated member Richard Snyder, Sr.
H. AWARD OF MERIT: To be awarded from time to time as shall be deemed appropriate to those persons that demonstrate consistently Outstanding Dedication, Service, and Leadership to the betterment of Organized Archery.
